5-day Silent Meditation Retreat

There are now well-researched benefits of the benefits of meditation, it's an ancient practice that is well underused in our busy western world... The purpose of this retreat is to reinvigorate your existing practice or to embark on your meditation journey. A sample schedule of our day is outlined below, so we will start the day with an Asana practice (the physical practice of yoga) and will meditate for approximately 6 hours per day. There will be silence after the first dinner together, as it is less stimulating for the mind and will provide you ample time to examine your own mind and patterns of thoughts that may exist.
There will be some guides and prompts for every meditation session for those newer to the practice and I will teach some different types of meditation. The retreat will be set up for all levels of experience. There is also an option to sit in a chair for the meditation sessions for those who are unable to sit in a cross-legged position.

- Fruits and tea available (24/7)
* 7 am Meditation (45 m)
8 am Breakfast
10.30 am Asana practice (90 m)
12.30 pm Lunch
* 2 pm Meditation (90 m)
* 4 pm Meditation (120m)
6.30 pm Dinner
* 8 pm Meditation (90m)
*Meditation sessions will be in 45 ms / so there will be an opportunity to walk around before starting each session. Depending on the group part of the meditation may take the form of a walking meditation or yoga nidra.
There will be opportunities to soak in the hot tub and potentially river swims if you are brave enough!

Costs will be set at a sliding scale from $580 to $680 all-inclusive of accommodation, meals and teachings. Please use this sliding scale respectfully as the intention is for lower-income earners to also have the opportunity to join this retreat.
