5-day Silent Meditation Retreat

There are now well researched benefits of the benefits of meditation, it's an ancient practice that is well under used in our busy western world... The purpose of this retreat is to reinvigorate your existing practice or to embark on your meditation journey. A sample schedule of our day is outlined below, so we will start the day with an Asana practice (physical practice of yoga) and will meditate for approximately 6 hours per day. There will be silence after the first dinner together, as it is less stimulating for the mind and will provide you ample time to examine your own mind and patterns of thoughts that may exist.
There will be some guides and prompts for every meditation session for those newer to the practice and I will teach some different types of meditation so you can determine which suits you. The retreat will be set up for all levels of experience.

*7am Meditation (45 m)
10.30am Asana practice (90 m)
12.30 pm Lunch
*2pm Meditation (90 m)
*4pm Meditation (120m)
*8pm Meditation (90m)
*Meditation sessions will be in 45 ms / so there will be an opportunity to walk around before starting each session. Depending on the group part of the meditation may take the form of a walking meditation or yoga nidra.
There will be opportunities to soak in the hot tub and potentially river swims if you are brave enough!
